Gwynedd Training provides training and development opportunities for engineers across a wide range of engineering disciplines.
Gwynedd Training engineering training programs reflect the very best of TDLB (Training Development Lead Body) and ENTRA (Engineering Training Authority) competence standards, in terms of both content and presentation.
Gwynedd Training can provide training and assessment either in employers' premises or at its own training centres.

The flexibility and convenience of our in-company service, and our ability to design courses to meet individual and company needs, have placed us at the forefront of training providers able to implement Company NVQ's at Level 3 for the Modern Engineering Apprenticeship.

BRITISH STANDARDS 4872 APPROVED
There are two methods of achieving the first year qualification:-
The first option is to follow an engineering course for a period of up to forty-four weeks, held in our approved Engineering Training Authority (EMTA/EAL) Training centre at Penrhyndeudraeth or Llanaelhearn.
This is followed by "in company training", in the second and third years, using a program of units of competence, and one day per week at one of our training centres or at the local technical college following a course of further education.
The second option is to follow a three year training course in company following a program of Units of Competence and one day per week at one of our training centres or in the local technical college following a course of further education.
Qualifications Levels (1) - (2) - (3) NVQ.
(Awarding Body - EAL/EMTA Awards Limited).
Welder - Specialising in Mig, Tig, Arc or Oxy-Acetylene techniques
Fabricator - in thin sheet or thick plate metal
Pipe Worker - Tube/pipe welding, fabrication and bending
Structural Steel Work.
