Modern Apprenticeships offer a quality alternative route to further education. The advantage being the opportunity of gaining paid employment whilst undertaking training. You need to be a high calibre young person with the potential to achieve National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 and beyond. You need to have 3 GCSE passes at a minimum grade C (including Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.
The employers are a key part of the design of the Engineering Modern Apprenticeship. Employers may have their own specific requirements.
The Engineering Modern Apprenticeship was developed by the Engineering Training Authority, the Engineering Employers Federation (EEF) and the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions (CSEU).
