PRACTITIONER QUALIFICATIONS LEVELS 1-4

ANYONE OF ANY AGE, PROVIDED THEY ARE OVER 16, WHO CAN PROVE THE ABILITY TO DO THE JOB, WITH THE REQUIRED DEGREE OF SKILL, IS ENTITLED TO BE ASSESSED FOR A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AT PRACTITIONER LEVEL.

• Does this include you? Gwynedd Training, based in Caernarfon, can advise you as to your suitability in obtaining the above qualifications. This assessment is based on either what you already do in your workplace, or what you can learn and apply in one of our Training Centres.

• People wishing to re-enter employment might wish to update their existing skills with us; or indeed, take on board new skills in order to compete for the existing jobs available in this field.

Practitioner Qualifications provide the knowledge and understanding of configuring a computer system and its components, whether in a standalone or network situation, and to be able to monitor the computing process effectively and rectify any deficiencies.

It is primarily a qualification for candidates who already have extensive software / hardware knowledge, and wish to further their technical skills.

Candidates can enter the framework at the level most relevant to their particular needs of situation.
