ANYONE OF ANY AGE, PROVIDED THEY ARE OVER 16, WHO CAN PROVE THE ABILITY TO DO THE JOB, WITH THE REQUIRED DEGREE OF SKILL, IS ENTITLED TO BE ASSESSED FOR A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AT PRACTITIONER LEVEL.
Practitioner Qualifications provide the knowledge and understanding of configuring a computer system and its components, whether in a standalone or network situation, and to be able to monitor the computing process effectively and rectify any deficiencies.
It is primarily a qualification for candidates who already have extensive software / hardware knowledge, and wish to further their technical skills.
Candidates can enter the framework at the level most relevant to their particular needs of situation.
