Not only have we got the Coed-Y-Brenin Mountain Biking Centre 5 Minutes away, with 90km of waymarked trails, and 200km of rideable trails within the 21,700 acre forest, we've got some brilliant riding right outside the front door among some of the most awesome landscape in the Snowdonia National Park, deep valleys with clear boulder strewn rivers, lung bursting climbs through high forest, skirting rocky outcrops onto the slopes of Snowdonia's high mountains, then awesome downhilling on forest road, grassy bridleway and technical singletrack. You'll ride everywhere from estuary to high mountain tops, forest roads to ancient Roman roads, and yet more amazing singletrack. All of this without the need to have your head buried in a map and without the worry of getting lost.

During your stay the optional guiding is free, and our guides, who are qualified and very experienced professionals will show you how to get the most out of your bike.

You will be staying in a 19th century grade two listed building in the picturesque village of Maentwrog on the banks of the River Dwyryd amidst the woods and mountains of the Vale of Ffestiniog.

Your rooms have a TV and Tea & Coffee facilities. There are showers, and there is a shared fitted kitchen for those who want to cook their own, but a huge bonus for us is that we are situated right next door to the famous "Grapes Hotel", British Free House of the Year 1995, a 19th century coach house with a cellar dating back to the 13th century.

The Grapes boasts a menu of fifty or so home prepared and home cooked bar meals plus daily fresh fish specialities. Inclusive in the price is a meal at the Grapes on the night of your arrival.
